The Pico Cuadro project, launched by Felipe Castrillo, began in the 2005 vintage. Currently, the winery is owned by three partners: Óscar Garrote, Diego Álvarez, and Felipe Castrillo, who are responsible for management, direction, and winemaking, respectively.
The fundamental pillar of Bodegas Pico Cuadro is the commitment to crafting wines that are well-differentiated by their origin. The work carried out with this goal over the years has led them to seek uniqueness in different areas of the D.O. Ribera del Duero. Today, this winery oversees nearly 20 hectares distributed across 26 different plots. This is the main value of the winery: the decentralization of the vineyards and, consequently, the uniqueness and complexity of its wines.
The winery is located within the historic center of Quintanilla de Onésimo. It is specially designed to vinify the different plots separately and is equipped with the necessary tools to produce a wine with a purely artisanal character.
