Conde de Haro Brut Rosé 2022 is made 100% from Garnacha grapes. Hand-harvested and transported to the winery in refrigerated crates. Direct pressing, base wine fermentation in small tanks with temperature control at 14/15ºC to preserve all the fruity aromas. After fermentation, it matured for 4 months on its lees, gaining volume on the palate. After bottling, it underwent a second fermentation in the bottle for 4 months at 12ºC. It aged for 36 months on the lees before disgorging, stored at low temperature to maintain its freshness and aromatic richness.
Muga is one of the most reliable and recognizable names in Rioja. Founded in 1932 by the Muga family, it is now run by seven cousins of the third generation. Its history began in a modest winery located on a central street in Haro, but in 1970 it inaugurated new facilities in the famous Barrio de la Estación in the same town.
Muga is characterized by its commitment to traditional winemaking: gravity racking, egg white fining, and all red wines are produced, fermented, and aged in oak (there is no stainless steel in the winery). It is also one of the few Spanish wineries with its own cooperage. However, in the vineyard, it embraces modern technology, monitoring the plants.
This winery is also distinguished by its mastery in aging, especially long aging, as its red wines exceed the aging periods stipulated by the Regulatory Council of the D.O.Ca. Rioja. Its portfolio is divided into two lines: a more classic one with the Muga and Prado Enea range, and a more modern one with Torre Muga and the 'top' Aro. To these is added the new Flor de Muga label, available in white and rosé, and the cavas Conde de Haro. All of them are wines with elegance in their DNA, enjoying magnificent acceptance.
Salmon pink color, bright and clean, with fine and well-integrated bubbles forming a delicate crown, a reflection of the traditional production method and the prolonged aging on the lees.
Aromatically expressive and complex, with high intensity. On the nose, we find aromas typical of fermentation on the lees, with clear notes of fine bakery and brioche, accompanied by creamy hints of strawberry yogurt. Ripe red fruits such as raspberry or blackberry, characteristic of Garnacha, also make an appearance.
The palate entry is fresh and balanced, with very good bubble integration. A creamy texture is provided by the aging on the lees. Marked acidity balanced by creaminess, bringing freshness to the mouth. The finish is clean and persistent, with red fruit notes and slight citrus hints in the aftertaste.

It boasts exceptional vineyards of tempranillo, garnacha, graciano, and mazuelo, located in the valleys of the Oja and Tirón rivers. In these lands, soil and climate come together to offer exceptional conditions for the vine, something the Muga family takes full advantage of to craft their renowned wines.
