Manchuela

The production area extends through the southeast of Cuenca and the northwest of Albacete, covering 70 municipalities between the Júcar and Cabriel rivers. The scarcity of rainfall between May and September and the large number of sunlight hours the vineyard receives minimize the risk of plant diseases, promoting organic farming with minimal treatments applied to the vineyard.

Climate
Continental type, with cool winters and hot summers with cooler nights due to the influence of winds coming from the Mediterranean Sea (this temperature difference between day and night promotes the slow ripening of the grape).
Soil
Clay, gravel, or sandy soils with a limestone base.
