The reason for the high quality of the wines from our winery lies in the excellent raw materials sourced from our vineyards. Vineyards that produce Tinta del País grapes, which is the adaptation of the Tempranillo variety along the banks of the Duero. This grape, the star of Spanish vineyards, reaches one of its highest levels of quality in our vineyards and results in red wines with very intense and stable color, full of energy and elegance.
Professional career
In 1994, the sotillano Santiago Arroyo began his winemaking journey, undertaking a new business project in the village cooperative, partially relying on the facilities of the old winery and carrying out a radical transformation of it. Today, Santiago Arroyo is recognized for this significant change, being one of the most awarded winemakers of recent times.
