Raúl Acha belongs to the latest generation of a family of viticulturists that has been connected to the world of wine for over two centuries. Raúl was born in 1976 in Cárdenas (La Rioja), where he has been surrounded by vineyards since childhood.

Description of their own wines
Raúl advocates for viticulture and an appropriate selection of vineyards as key elements for producing a great wine. Together with his team of enólogos, he is capable of expressing their full potential in unique and high-quality projects. In each project, he applies the most suitable techniques and, above all, carefully considers the geographical and climatological characteristics for each wine. He defines his wines as “fine, silky, balanced between fruit and wood, easy to drink, and with soft tannins.”
Professional career
The professional career of Raúl Acha has been almost entirely developed at Vintae. Raúl started working at Vintae in 2004 and has been a key figure in the expansion of this group to different regions, as he is responsible for selecting the vineyards, the facilities, and for carrying out and supervising the production processes in all the projects the company undertakes across 15 different designations of origin in Spain. Currently, he leads a technical team composed of 3 enologists.
Raúl Acha is a member of the 'Vitur' Viticulture and Enology Group at the University of La Rioja, has been a lecturer in the Master's program in Viticulture and Enology held in Laguardia, and is a contributor to viticulture magazines.
