"The white wines of Rueda are wines made with aromatic varieties and great personality such as verdejo and sauvignon blanc. Verdejo, the main variety and for me the quintessential white variety, is characterized by its aroma and flavor with hints of wild herbs, fruity touches, and excellent acidity, mainly acquired in the stony soils where it is rooted and thanks to the region's climate, marked by the thermal variation between day and night, and careful winemaking. All this provides great aromatic complexity, volume on the palate, and a final bitter touch, accompanied by a great fruity expression."
Professional career
In 2005, when the DO5 Hispanobodegas group was created, he took on the technical direction of Bodegas Garci Grande, in Rueda, belonging to the same group. In May 2009, he assumed the technical direction of Palacio de Bornos, also in Rueda.
