Description of their own wines
Bodegas Montecillo is a century-old winery –the third oldest in the D.O.Ca. Rioja–, which has always stood out for its great wines, and for this reason, I always impose upon myself the utmost respect for a style forged over the years. However, at the same time, we must look to the future, which compels us to renew ourselves, seeking the identity and authenticity of each variety and each plot. We have history, but we look to the future. That is why I would define our wines as current classics with their own personality.
