Member of an important Portuguese family of wine producers.
Professional career
Manuel Louzada is part of the fourth generation of a family dedicated to viticulture in the Douro Valley, Portugal. He began his career at Rozes (Oporto). After ten years of work in Argentina (where he directed the winery Terraza de los Andes, turning it into a reference in the famous Mendoza region), he arrived in 2008 at the D.O. Toro. In 2015, he also took on the role of technical director at Propiedad de Arínzano.
