The Terras Gauda family-owned winery group operates in four of Spain's most renowned and internationally recognized wine-producing regions: Rías Baixas (home to the group's original winery, Terras Gauda), Ribera del Duero (Quinta Sardonia), Bierzo (Pittacum), and La Rioja (Heraclio Alfaro). It markets nearly two and a half million bottles and has a presence in 60 international markets. Global exports account for 26%, with the United States, United Kingdom, Norway, and China as key markets abroad.
The Terras Gauda group has more than three decades of history with José María Fonseca Moretón (pictured), founding partner of Terras Gauda, as president, and an unchanging philosophy: to create wines of distinct uniqueness, tied to the terroir and reflective of their origin. This philosophy has been the cornerstone of its geographic diversification process, with a strategy based on differentiation, sustainability, and internationalization. In this new era, the family legacy continues with Antón Fonseca Fernández as vice president and Carmen Fonseca Fernández as board member.
