The trajectory of Vega Sicilia since the arrival of the Álvarez family has been simply impeccable. With Pablo Álvarez at the helm as CEO, all the structures of the legendary Vega Sicilia were renewed, and the international expansion of the company took place, with the incorporation of new wineries.
Currently, the TEMPOS Vega Sicilia group is composed of six wineries: Bodegas Vega Sicilia and Bodegas Alión (D.O. Ribera del Duero), Bodegas Pintia (D.O. Toro), Bodegas Oremus (Tokaj, Hungary), Bodegas Benjamín Rothschild-Vega Sicilia (D.O.Ca. Rioja), created through a 50% alliance between the Rothschild family and the Álvarez family; and Deiva (the upcoming project in D.O. Rías Baixas).
The Vega Sicilia company produces a maximum of 1.5 million bottles per year, depending on the harvests, distributed to its 4,500 clients in 110 countries worldwide.
