Albarín negro

Its clusters are conical, without shoulders, compact, and medium-sized. The grapes are medium-small and circular in shape, with a grayish garnet color and thin, crisp skins with low concentration in phenolic compounds (color), which is why they are chosen for the production of young wines. If the grape has ripened well, during carbonic maceration, part of the excess acidity is naturally reduced, resulting in a very interesting outcome. These wines are prone to rapid oxidation, so quick consumption is recommended. The alcohol content varies greatly depending on the climatic year, leading to significant differences between vintages.
Weaknesses
Sensitive to powdery mildew and botrytis in rainy years, during which achieving full ripening is challenging.
