Rheinhessen

The Rheinhessen region (Rhenish Hesse) is located in the northwest of the Upper Rhine basin, in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany). It is the largest wine-growing region in the country, with approximately 26,600 ha of vineyards.
