To the south of Burgundy, between the villages of Chaintré, Fuissé, Solutré-Pouilly, and Vergisson, lie the 780 hectares of vineyards belonging to the A.O.C. Pouilly-Fuissé. The appellation exclusively produces white wines made from Chardonnay, sourced from its 200 climats or classified plots.
According to experts, among all Burgundy appellations, Pouilly-Fuissé is the one with the greatest diversity in soil composition, resulting in wines of great richness and complexity.
