Luberon

Luberon is one of the appellations of the Rhône Valley. This A.O.C., created in 1988, is geographically located around the Luberon National Park in the southeast of France and covers a vineyard area of 3,220 hectares.

The dominant variety cultivated is syrah, followed by garnacha, mourvèdre or monastrell, cinsault, and cariñena. Regarding white varieties, the most prominent are garnacha blanca and vermentino. From these, wines are produced, of which 47% are rosé, 29% red, and 24% white. The rosés stand out for their structure and fruity nose, the reds for their balance, elegance, and spicy finish, and the whites are appreciated for their liveliness and predominance of floral notes.
