Valle del Itata

Itata Valley is a wine-growing subregion that belongs to the Southern region, one of the six major production areas into which Chile is divided. The vineyards extend over approximately 10,800 hectares, and the predominant varieties are the white Chardonnay and Moscatel de Alejandría, and the red País and Cabernet Sauvignon.
