Hermanos Pérez Pascuas is a well-established winery. Its impeccable consistency is one of its main characteristics. Viña Pedrosa Reserva 2017 is made with selected vineyards of 50-year-old Tempranillo, located at an altitude of 840 m in one of the best areas of Ribera del Duero: the surroundings of Pesquera de Duero (Burgos). Bush-trained vines that provide low yields (3,300 kg/ha) of very high quality, hand-harvested. It has an aging of 24 months in oak barrels, followed by a minimum of 12 months harmonizing in the bottle.
With four decades behind it, the firm Hermanos Pérez Pascuas continues to maintain the family character with which it was conceived. The three Pérez Pascuas brothers (Benjamín, Manuel, and Adolfo) were pioneers in betting on Ribera del Duero as a quality wine region. Thus, in 1980 they separated from the cooperative of their homeland, Pedrosa de Duero (Burgos), to found their own winery and defended the creation of the new Denomination of Origin.
Hermanos Pérez Pascuas is today one of the most important wineries in Ribera del Duero and a firm of international prestige. It is one of the few firms in Ribera del Duero that manages to be self-sufficient, using 120 hectares of its own vineyards. Viña Pedrosa
