Venus is the result of our search for beauty. An attempt to interpret femininity, the earth, through a bottle of wine: Cariñena, Garnacha, and Syrah, mystery and seduction, discourse and voluptuousness, peace, patience, balance, and passion. A juicy wine, designed to accompany food, especially Mediterranean cuisine.
The winery
The Venus La Universal winery was established in 1999, led by Sara Pérez (Mas Martinet) and René Barbier (Clos Mogador), determined to produce wines in the promising Montsant area, even before the appellation was officially founded. The winery's goal is to create exceptional wines, always committed to organic farming and genuine respect for the environment and surroundings. They work on land where the native grape varieties garnacha and cariñena take center stage, well complemented by international varieties such as cabernet sauvignon, syrah, and merlot.
