Viña Sol 2021 is the latest vintage of a white wine that first came out in the summer of 1962 and has since become a Mediterranean classic.
Bodegas Torres makes this white with fine citrussy aromas and a delicate palate from a careful selection of Parellada and Garnacha Blanca, two of the traditional grape varieties of the D.O. Catalunya. The varieties were harvested separately in a year marked by unusual weather conditions that led to a 10% reduction in yield but high-quality grapes that have resulted in a markedly fresh and fragrant wine. Viña Sol 2021 is an excellent choice for pairing with all kinds of fish, seafood and rice dishes.

The winery
The Torres surname has been linked to winemaking in the Penedès region since the 17th century, although the official founding date of the winery is set in 1870.
