At an altitude of 700 meters in the Manchuela region, on clayey and ferruginous soils, grow the over 70-year-old bobal and tempranillo vines used to produce Sospechoso Rosado 2023, a peculiar rosé wine produced by Marcos Eguren, in collaboration with the Uvas Felices project, which sensationally expresses its freshness, fruitiness, and well-integrated acidity.
The harvest was carried out manually in the vineyard during the last week of September. Once in the winery, its vinification consisted of a cold maceration for 4 hours, static racking, and spontaneous fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16ºC. The result is an attractive rosé from La Mancha with pleasant aromas of red fruit and citrus notes, smooth, light, and friendly on the palate.
Under the V.T. Castilla designation, the Uvas Felices wine Sospechoso Rosado 2023 is the perfect accompaniment to any appetizer, salads, grilled vegetables, seafood or mountain rice dishes, and grilled white fish.
Sospechoso Rosado boasts a delicate and very elegant salmon color.
On the nose, it reveals attractive aromas of red fruits such as strawberries and fresh raspberries, followed by subtle citrus hints.
On the palate, it is friendly, light, and smooth. A long and refreshing sensation lingers, well-defined by its fruity notes.
