General Information
Santa Rita 120 Reserva Especial Sauvignon Blanc 2024 comes from selected vineyards in the Chilean Central Valley, an extensive area influenced by the Coastal Range, the Intermediate Depression, and the Andes Mountains. This diversity provides loamy and clay soils with excellent drainage and a Mediterranean climate with significant day-night temperature variation, which preserves acidity and enhances the citrus and herbal aromas characteristic of the variety.
The harvest is carried out manually, followed by destemming and chilling to 10 ºC to preserve the aromas. The pressing is gentle, using only the free-run juice, which undergoes static decantation for 36-48 hours before controlled fermentation at 14-16 ºC. Finally, the wine is stabilized for proteins and tartaric acid before bottling, with no oak aging to maintain its freshness and typicity.
