General Information

In Paco Mencía by Paco & Lola 2023 the famous winery known for its eye-catching albariños adorned with polka dots, Adega e Viñedos Paco & Lola showcases its innovative and creative philosophy. A commitment that perfectly represents the mencía born on the banks of the Sil, in the heart of the D.O. Valdeorras.

The Galician winery, established in 2005, extends its influence beyond Rías Baixas to craft this red wine made from vineyards with an average age between 13 and 19 years, planted on sandy-loam soils of granitic origin. The fermentation with its skins to extract the maximum color and aromas from the grapes presents us with a fruitier mencía, fresh, elegant, and easy to drink.

Paco Mencía by Paco & Lola 2023 is ideal to enjoy with fish, white meats such as pork or chicken, and cheeses.

Tasting notes

Deep cherry red color with violet hues. Medium-high intensity.

Intense nose with aromas of red fruits and forest fruit jam, complemented by floral notes and a balsamic finish.

Elegant, fresh, and fruity on the palate. Good balance between alcohol and acidity, with a mineral and balsamic finish.
