El Negociante fully reflects the essence of Vinoselección: it’s a special label we’ve created for you to enjoy wines we like that are not sold under the respective wineries’ own trademarks. The fourth, El Negociante Reserva 2018, embodies the best of the Tempranillo variety grown in Rioja.

For the fourth red we’re presenting under our exclusive El Negociante label we’ve again gone for Rioja. El Negociante Reserva 2018 is a red based on Tempranillo (94%) enhanced with other local grapes: Maturana Tinta (2%), Garnacha (2%), Graciano (1%) and Mazuelo (1%). The wine was rounded off with a long 21 months in American (80%) and French (20%) oak.
If you buy a wine and like it, you think you’ve made a good choice, whatever firm produced it. That’s the basic idea behind El Negociante: what matters is the contents of the bottle. At Vinoselección we created this exclusive label for wines we like that firms don’t market themselves for some reason: because the vintage doesn’t meet the usual parameters, because a new winemaker establishes different guidelines…
El Negociante Reserva 2018 (D.O.Ca. Rioja) is perfect with meats such as shank of lamb or stewed ossobuco.
