Mujer Cañón 2021 is one of the great Garnacha reds created by the Uvas Felices project. Refined with a carefully planned 14-month barrel aging, it is an elegant and fresh wine born from 60-70-year-old vineyards located at 900 meters of altitude, which were key to its complexity and balance.

La Mujer Cañón 2021 is a red wine made from 100% garnacha, born from the old vineyards tended by Fernando García and Daniel Landi (Comando G) in Cadalso de los Vidrios, a town located in the Sierra de Gredos in Madrid. These vineyards, at 900 meters above sea level, produce a unique red wine. For its production, the grapes are vinified without destemming and fermented with native yeasts at a controlled temperature. 14 months in 500-liter barrels and an additional 6 months in the bottle result in a red wine with great aromatic intensity, highlighted by Mediterranean herbs, with a deep and full-bodied palate.
La Mujer Cañón originated in 2010 thanks to the integration of the creators of Comando G into the Uvas Felices project. The brand emerged from the association of several winemakers with the goal of designing unique wines and showcasing the distinctive characteristics of different wine-producing regions in our country.
The two winemakers Fernando García and Daniel Landi (Comando G) demonstrate their mastery of garnacha with La Mujer Cañón 2021, a complex, balanced, and profound wine under the D.O. Vinos de Madrid.
La Mujer Cañón displays an intense garnet color, clean and bright.
On the nose, it stands out with a base of Mediterranean herbs, good depth, and a touch of phosphorus accompanied by fruity notes.
On the palate, it is elegant, with a texture that reveals its well-integrated tannins and good volume. Great presence and a pleasant final aroma.
