Lunático is one of the wines that has brought the most satisfaction to Casa de la Ermita. Following the same philosophy and production concept, the Jumilla winery launched Lunático 2023, a new version of the Lunático range featuring the fragrant noble variety of French origin, sauvignon blanc.

Founded in Jumilla in 1999, Casa de la Ermita is a winery that combines the region's winemaking tradition and the cultivation of native grapes like monastrell with other foreign varieties in a carefully tended experimental plot, including touriga nacional, egiodolá, gewürztraminer, viognier, or sauvignon blanc, with which this Lunático is entirely crafted, brought to you by the Club.

Like its red sibling, Lunático 2023 gets its name from the nighttime harvest to which the vines are subjected. The greater thermal stability of the early morning hours ensures that the grapes reach the winery in optimal conditions, protected from unwanted oxidations and macerations. Once at the facilities, the careful production process took care of the rest, culminating in a white from Jumilla with a French soul that captivates with its intoxicating nose and the precise acidity to enhance its freshness. Enjoy this single-varietal with your fish dishes and oriental cuisine, white meats, smoked sausages, salted fish, or semi-cured cheeses.

The winery

Casa de la Ermita
In the Sierra de El Carche, a protected regional park where the highest mountains of Murcia are located, lie the vineyards and winery of Casa de la Ermita, a family-owned estate founded in 1999.

The combination of traditional agriculture, a long-standing activity of the owning family, with modernity and the latest technology in service of winemaking, forms the two pillars upon which Casa de la Ermita is built. All of this is supported by an unbeatable starting point: an excellent quality raw material, born from its 100 hectares of vineyards.

The queen grape of the D.O. Jumilla, monastrell, is skillfully crafted by Casa de la Ermita, but the family winery also prides itself on having successfully adapted and utilized other prestigious international varieties such as petit verdot, merlot, syrah, and cabernet sauvignon.
