Lalama 2021 is a red wine with an Atlantic character, full of complexity and balance, designed for aging but very enjoyable for those who don't want to wait. A Ribeira Sacra created from grapes grown in vineyards between 20 and 100 years old, with great soil diversity and located at altitudes of up to 700 meters, it shows itself to be perfumed, elegant, and fruity. General Information

The native varieties mencía, brancellao, mouratón, and sousón come together in Lalama 2021, an exceptional coupage at the pinnacle of quality for Galician red wines. Old vines located in slate soils at 700 meters altitude, along with an expressive and fresh vintage, resulted in an Atlantic-style red wine that appears fruity, with an attractive mineral background and delicate balsamic and spicy notes.

Bodegas Dominio do Bibei is a project born in the year 2000 that stands on a mountain in Ribeira Sacra, in the village of Langullo (Orense). At Dominio do Bibei, there are both young and century-old vines, in an orderly disorder of recovered native varieties, at an altitude ranging from 200 to 700 meters. This provides them with the possibility of designing small productions of elegant Galician labels.

The fruits that give rise to the magnificent red from the Bibei Valley Lalama 2021 are harvested manually in 10 kg boxes. Once the grapes are cooled for 24 hours, a manual selection is carried out, cluster by cluster, in the winery. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in 25, 35, and 45 hectoliter wooden conical tanks with manual punch-downs. Once all these processes are completed, the wine undergoes 12 months of aging in used French oak barrels and remains 10 more months in 45 hectoliter oak conical tanks. 12 months of rounding in the bottle finished shaping a great red wine under the D.O. Ribeira Sacra, praised by the public and specialized critics, harvest after harvest.

Dominio do Bibei Lalama 2021 pairs perfectly with legumes, grilled red meats, roasted red meats, and small game.
