Lafou de Rams 2018 is a white wine from the D.O. Terra Alta, crafted to achieve the maximum expression of white Garnacha, while reflecting the magnificent qualities of its vineyard of origin: the Viña de Rams, planted on terraces in 1966, along the natural course of sedimentation of the Gabrielet ravine centuries ago. Fresh and elegant, it is a wine with character whose production, where part of the wine was made like a red (maceration of whole grapes with their skins followed by vinification and aging in oak), gave it depth and balance. 30 months of aging in the winery refined this white wine with the essence of a red.

The winery
Lafou Celler (2007) is the personal project of Ramón Roqueta Segalés, heir to a lineage connected to the wine world for over ten generations and founder in 1898 of Bodegas Ramón Roqueta, one of the most authentic and long-standing wineries in Catalonia.
Lafou Celler is located in the main square of the municipality of Batea (Tarragona), in a restored old manor house, and is equipped with the most advanced technology. Its wines, protected under the D.O. Terra Alta, are a true reflection of this region.
