La Val Treixadura 2023 is a Galician white wine made from the native treixadura grape variety, which expresses itself distinctively but with a more Atlantic personality thanks to its terroir of origin: the Porto estate, on the banks of the Miño, in the Condado de Tea. A vineyard with alluvial soils and pebbles that give the fruits greater acidity and freshness. After a measured production process culminating in 3 months of aging on fine lees, Bodegas La Val offers us a refreshing white from Rías Baixas distinguished by its fragrance and good structure.

La Val Treixadura is a pale yellow wine with marked green reflections; clean and bright. It offers a marked aromatic intensity with floral memories (mimosa, orange blossom, chamomile) and orchard notes (hay, laurel, grapefruit, boxwood, nectarine). On the palate, it presents a medium structure with pleasant sparkling freshness and notable fragrance.
Founded in 1985, La Val was one of the first brands of the D.O. Rías Baixas and one of the pioneering wineries to recognize the potential of the albariño grape. Its first step was the acquisition of the La Val estate (O Rosal), on the banks of the Miño River. From there, it expanded its vineyard by seeking high-quality land to start new plantations.
In 2003, it moved its production to the Arantei Estate, located in the heart of Condado de Tea, where it built new and modern facilities surrounded by 35 hectares of vineyards with an average age of 30 years. In a region dominated by smallholdings, La Val is one of the wineries with the most owned vineyards in the D.O. Rías Baixas, with 53 hectares spread across different estates.
