Flor de Morca Garnacha 2025 is made from Garnacha vines planted in small plots with low yields, in the town of Borja (Zaragoza). A red wine from Bodegas Morca, owned by Viñas Familia Gil in the Denominación de Origen Campo de Borja, offering good aromatic intensity (red fruits, cocoa, licorice) and a smooth, enveloping palate with delicate tannins and good persistence.
Flor de Morca Garnacha 2025 is a young and expressive red wine made from Garnacha in the D.O. Campo de Borja, one of the benchmark regions for this variety. Fully vinified in stainless steel, it preserves the purity of the fruit and offers an intense, juicy, and balanced profile, with soft tannins and a fresh, persistent finish. A versatile wine, highly enjoyable and true to the character of Aragonese Garnacha.
The Campo de Borja (Zaragoza) is a region characterized by a continental climate with Mediterranean influence and poor soils that encourage moderate yields. These conditions allow the Garnacha to clearly express its fruity character, natural freshness, and a gentle structure, resulting in intense yet balanced wines with a strong varietal identity.
To produce Flor de Morca Garnacha, the grapes undergo fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After completing malolactic fermentation, the wine remains in stainless steel until bottling, preserving the Garnacha’s fruity expression intact and achieving a clean, direct, and highly expressive profile.
Bodegas Morca, part of Viñas Familia Gil, is a project focused on crafting Garnacha wines with identity, balance, and personality. Located in Campo de Borja, the winery combines vineyard expertise, winemaking precision, and a philosophy aimed at respecting the natural expression of the variety. Flor de Morca represents its most accessible and fresh side, without compromising on quality or character.
Flor de Morca Garnacha 2025 pairs with great versatility with rice dishes, pasta, vegetables, mushrooms, pork, white or red meats with sauce, cured meats, and fresh or semi-cured cheeses, enhancing its fruity profile and gentle texture.
