General Information

Planted on northwest-facing terraces at altitude, the Perrin Family vineyard is one of the most emblematic and historic in the French locality of Gigondas. Here originates Famille Perrin Gigondas La Gille 2021, a splendid coupage of manually harvested Grenache and Syrah, following a meticulous selection process. After crushing and vatting, a long maceration was carried out to refine the tannins, and following malolactic fermentation and blending, the wine aged in foudres and French barrels for one year. The result is a red wine with character, yet fine and delicate, with a smooth palate and rich aromas of black fruits and licorice.

The Perrin family traces its origins back to 1909, at the prestigious Château de Beaucastel. Today, the French winery is managed by the fifth generation with a clear goal: to ensure each grape variety expresses its personality and the character of the terroir where it is planted.

Famille Perrin Gigondas La Gille 2021 is an elegant wine from the A.O.C. Gigondas with great aging potential. It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 16 ºC, accompanying all kinds of white meats, red meats, lamb, game, and cured meats.

Creators' opinion

The winery

Famille Perrin-Les Crus is one of the wineries owned by the Perrin family, one of the most renowned winemaking dynasties in France and the owner of the legendary Château de Beaucastel.

The company advocates for an organic and biodynamic approach to cultivating their vineyards in the southern Rhône Valley, mainly planted with Grenache Noir and Blanc. This philosophy, their mastery of the art of blending, and the unique terroir of origin make their wines benchmark creations from this French production area.
