Serving temperature
To produce Delapierre Etiqueta Negra Brut, grapes from some of the best vineyards in the most Mediterranean climatic zone of the D.O. Cava have been selected, where the native varieties macabeo, xarel·lo, and parellada express their great potential.
Once in the winery, after destemming and gentle pressing of the fruit, the musts are fermented at a controlled temperature between 17 and 18ºC. After the wines are stabilized, the blend that gives rise to the final cava is prepared. This is the moment where each varietal contributes its special characteristics, giving the sparkling wine a delicate structure, exquisite fragrance, and well-integrated acidity.
Delapierre is one of the great brands of the Codorníu Group, a Catalan house that dates back 18 generations of a family of winemakers like the Raventós, who continue to produce cavas using the traditional method and native grape varieties from Penedés such as macabeo, xarel·lo, and parellada. Delapierre Etiqueta Negra Brut is a good example of this. A sparkling wine under the D.O. Cava, ideal for sharing with appetizers in the countryside or by the sea, fish barbecues, stewed meats, to casseroles and marinated fish.
Bright pale yellow color with greenish hues and fine bubbles.
On the nose, floral, citrus, and green apple aromas stand out, coming from the youth of this cava.
On the palate, it is young, fresh, light, and pleasant.
