Comte Arnau Brut Nature Reserva 2023 is a refined and elegant cava with 31 months of sur lie ageing. Its fine mousse and superb balance make it a standout choice not only for toasting and celebrating but also for pairing with all kinds of dishes.

Comte Arnau Brut Nature Reserva 2023 is a faithful expression of traditional cava. It originates from a blend of Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada, and rests 31 months of ageing in bottle on its lees, a period that refines its style and gives greater complexity and a perfectly integrated bubble.

Comte Arnau Brut Nature Reserva 2023 summarises the essence of great cavas: careful production, prolonged maturation and an elegant personality that invites you to continue the glass.

Founded in 1882, Roger Goulart is one of the historic great names of cava, with a track record marked by excellence and respect for the traditional method. Its sparkling wines rest for years in spectacular underground cellars sunk more than 30 metres deep, where they find the ideal conditions for slow and precise ageing. The result is elegant, complex cavas with a pronounced personality, recognised both in Spain and in the world’s leading international markets, such as this delicious Comte Arnau Brut Nature Reserva 2023.

Tasting notes

View

Pale straw-yellow colour with golden irisations, very bright, with a fine and persistent bubble and a very good formation of the crown.

Nose

Unfolds a complex aromatic spectrum in which notes of ripe white fruit stand out, with hints of pear and apple, over a delicious background of butter and grilled bread. A refined, expressive aroma with the unmistakable signature of its long ageing on lees.

Mouth

Fresh and fragrant on the palate. Savoury, light and expressive. The bubbles integrate naturally and leave a brisk, elegant and very well-balanced mouthfeel. The finish is broad and long, with a delicate aftertaste of toasted nuts that adds depth and leaves a very persistent impression.

The winery

Winery

The cultivation of vines at the Masía de Can Goulart dates back to the 18th century, specifically to 1882, when the Canals family acquired the cellars, making it one of the first sparkling wine producers in Spain. The Canals family still owns the cellars today. Its impressive 1920 building, designed by architect Ignasi Mas Morell, is a prime example of Catalan agrarian modernism and one of its main attractions. Roger Goulart does not own vineyards nor produce the base wine, although he closely follows the entire process. To craft this Brut Nature, he uses the classic trio of regional varieties (Parellada, Xarel.lo, Macabeo), which each contribute distinct qualities: structure, silkiness on the palate, and aromatic finesse.
