Casa de la Ermita Parcela La Solana 2025 is an organic white wine made from the finest viognier grapes harvested at an altitude of 800 meters, facing the Sierra del Carche, in a single plot: La Solana, recognized as a Viñedo Singular. Intense and vibrant, its fermentation in barrels on fine lees turned it into a magnificent limited-edition viognier distinguished by its broad and creamy palate.

Casa de la Ermita Parcela La Solana 2025 is a single-variety viognier wine produced in the D.O. Jumilla by the winery Casa de la Ermita, using grapes from a single plot.

The scarce rainfall, rocky soils, and the altitude of almost 800 meters above sea level where the vines are located, in the highest part of their estate in the El Carche mountain range, allow the viognier from Casa de la Ermita to offer great aromatic intensity, delicacy, and excellent acidity. The winery chose to begin the fermentation of the wine in oak barrels, along with its lees, in a carefully measured process that preserved and enhanced all the varietal qualities. The result is a tremendously expressive white wine from Jumilla, highly original, with good volume and freshness.

Casa de la Ermita Parcela La Solana 2025 is perfect for pairing with all kinds of salads, rice dishes, seafood, white fish, and lightly aged cheeses.

Tasting notes

Casa de la Ermita Parcela La Solana is a wine with a medium-intensity lemon-yellow color, clean and bright.

On the nose, it stands out for its high-intensity aromas with great expressiveness. It reveals notes of white fruit with citrus touches on a background of coconut.

Full-bodied, with great volume on the palate. It shows a refreshing acidity and a very expressive and persistent retronasal finish.

The winery

Casa de la Ermita
In the Sierra de El Carche, a protected regional park where the highest mountains of Murcia are located, lie the vineyards and winery of Casa de la Ermita, a family-owned estate founded in 1999.

The combination of traditional agriculture, a long-standing activity of the owning family, with modernity and the latest technology in service of winemaking, forms the two pillars upon which Casa de la Ermita is built. All of this is supported by an unbeatable starting point: an excellent quality raw material, born from its 100 hectares of vineyards.

The queen grape of the D.O. Jumilla, monastrell, is skillfully crafted by Casa de la Ermita, but the family winery also prides itself on having successfully adapted and utilized other prestigious international varieties such as petit verdot, merlot, syrah, and cabernet sauvignon.
