Can Axartell Tinto 2022 is a unique red wine crafted by the Can Axartell winery on the island of Mallorca, made from a blend of selected grapes including pinot noir, callet, manto negro, syrah, and merlot, sourced from their own vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils. The Can Axartell winery was established in 2013 with the aim of producing wines that express the Mallorcan winemaking tradition. Additionally, the winery, designed around the gravity method, has incorporated techniques and trends that reflect current tastes, working with local grape varieties alongside international ones, which coexist in a perfect ecosystem and produce interesting wines like this Can Axartell Tinto brought to you by the Club. Since the first vineyard was planted, the winery has 34 hectares of vineyards on the estate and 22 more spread across the island of Mallorca.
Can Axartell Tinto 2022 is a red wine classified under the I.G.P. Vi de la Terra Mallorca, perfectly pairing with all kinds of tapas, rice dishes, and any dish prepared with dried fruits such as raisins, dried apricots, prunes, or cranberries.
Can Axartell Tinto displays a medium-intensity ruby red color, clear and bright.
On the nose, it is expressive, with a significant floral and fruity presence. Notes of blue flowers like violet are followed by aromas of candied red fruit, cherries, and raspberries. In the background, herbal hints and creamy touches (fresh cheese) can be perceived, set against a pastry backdrop.
On the palate, it is fresh, broad, with no sharp edges, and a strong fruit presence. Medium-bodied, with soft tannins and a pleasant, long finish.

The estate, which includes vineyards, forests, mountains, and streams, was abandoned until the 1990s, when the first vineyards were planted under the principles of certified organic production.

Following this way of doing things, the first wines were bottled in 2013, and since then, the attention garnered by this Balearic island winery has steadily grown.
