Zinio Reserva 2019 is a red wine designed to seduce all types of wine lovers, both novices and veterans, and to recall the traditional Riojas for laying down, the sort with long ageing periods, designed to last and be remembered. Zinio Reserva 2019 has been aged for 36 months in both American oak barrels and the bottle.
Bodegas Zinio is located in the municipality of Uruñuela, 3 km from Nájera and 23 km from Logroño. It owns 400 hectares of vineyards, surrounded by the Cantabrian and Demanda mountains and greatly influenced by the river Ebro. The vineyards are fully divided into plots and, depending on their characteristics, the grapes go into making whites, rosés, young reds or barrel-aged reds.
Founded in 1985, Zinio Bodegas is the socio-economic engine of Uruñuela, a village of 967 inhabitants located in the heart of Rioja Alta, where viticulture is its main economic activity. This organization promotes a sustainable model of viticulture and is committed to constant innovation both in its wines and in the new enotourism project that will soon come to light.
The winery began years ago with the classification and selection of its vineyards (425 hectares), which led to the commercialization of a wide range of wines in more than 30 markets.
