After completing his studies in Engineering, he graduated in Oenology. His first job was at a family winery in Rioja Alta, where he produced small batches of very exclusive wines: barrel-fermented white, carbonic maceration, reservas, and signature wines. In this winery, he managed vineyard monitoring and the technical direction of the winery. Later, he advised several wineries while building the Bodegas y Viñedos Zuazo Gastón project, which he has been responsible for since its inception.
