I maintain respect and dedication to the autochthonous as a key factor in winemaking, introducing contributions from foreign varieties that complement or enhance the indigenous ones. I have managed to adapt the main variety, Monastrell, to modern times by modifying cultivation and introducing winemaking systems in line with new trends.
Professional career
After seven years of experience as an enólogo, he joined Bodegas Castaño in 1989, where he has developed his career over the years, enriching his knowledge through direct contact with various national and international enólogos and through continuous attendance at courses, tastings, events, congresses, etc.

Specialist Technician in Viticulture and Oenology, Master's in Viticulture and Oenology in Madrid, member of the Tasting Committee of the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Yecla, and University Degree in Oenology from the Department of Agriculture and Water of the Region of Murcia.
