Professional career
Lalo (Gonzalo) Antón was born in 1975 in Vitoria. He graduated in Economics from the University of Navarra and later complemented his studies in Enology and Viticulture at the University of California, Davis (1999-2000), obtaining an Executive MBA from IESE (2008-2009). After working at Bodegas Ridge, he returned to Spain in 2001 to open the company to the international market. In 2003, together with his father Gonzalo, he became involved in the group's expansion to other regions, until in 2010 he took over as General Manager of the Family Wineries group (formed by the wineries Izadi, Vetus, Finca Villacreces, and Orben, with a presence in the four most important appellations of Spain).
