Garnacha peluda
The clusters are medium-sized and compact, with medium oval-shaped berries, thick skin, and covered with a fuzz that gives it its name. It is an aromatic and delicate variety, with delicate and sweet tannins. Its late ripening results in a low phenolic content, making it suitable for the production of young wines or those with a brief aging in barrels. It shows a balance between acidity and alcohol, with fresh strawberry aromas and a delicate palate.
Weaknesses
It is resistant to spring frosts and sensitive to rot.
