Caíño tinto

Their clusters are medium or small, cylindrical, compact, and short. The grapes are medium-sized, spherical in shape, and dark garnet in color. Caíño tinto wines tend to be herbaceous and vegetal, although they can be balanced with short aging in American oak.

Weaknesses

It is resistant to insects, moderately sensitive to botrytis, and very sensitive to powdery mildew.
