Bruñal
The clusters are very small and compact, almost circular. The grapes are also small and have a bluish-black color, with a characteristic cassis flavor. The pulp is very firm, compact, and loaded with tannins and color. It has good alcoholic strength and balanced acidity, with thick but non-vegetal tannins. Although it is a high-quality variety, due to its low yield, it is used for the production of concentrated wines.

Sensitive to erinosis and botrytis.
