General Information

Vincent Grall Blanc Cuvée Le Manoir 2020 is named after the small plot from which it originates, located on a hill southeast of Sancerre. Its siliceous and clay soils give the sauvignon blanc grapes used in its production a special complexity, further enhanced in the winery by vinification in used oak barrels.

Vincent Grall Vigneron is one of the smallest yet most interesting wineries in the A.O.C. Sancerre. Their productions are limited and of exceptional quality, given the small size of their vineyard of just over 3.8 hectares. This allows the winery total and thorough control of each and every process, both in the field and in the winery. The result is creations like Vincent Grall Blanc Cuvée Le Manoir 2020, wines that showcase the essence of Sancerre. Perfect to enjoy with semi-cured cheeses and fish.

Tasting notes

To the eye, it displays a beautiful golden color, clean and bright.

Pure nose that combines aromas of citrus and tropical fruits (grapefruit, pineapple) with fine notes of white flowers.

On the palate, it is subtle, with the citrus and white flower notes detected in the olfactory phase reappearing. It has a mineral finish (smoky stones) and great personality.

The winery

Vincent Grall Vigneron is one of the smallest yet most attractive wineries in the A.O.C. Sancerre due to its quality. Founded in 1999 by winemaker and viticulturist Vincent Grall, the estate owns just 3.8 hectares of vineyards planted with sauvignon blanc, producing unique and limited-production wines.

The philosophy of Vincent Grall Vigneron is based on tradition and authenticity. The work in the field is characterized by minimal intervention, the use of organic fertilizers, and a strong commitment to low yields per plant to ensure the highest quality grapes. A respectful viticulture that continues in the winery with winemaking processes focused on achieving the fullest and purest expression of sauvignon blanc, with simplicity and naturalness.
