General Information

The production of Viña Pedrosa Gran Reserva 2016 is a tribute to patience and craftsmanship. The harvest is carried out manually, selecting only the best clusters of tempranillo. After 24 months of aging in oak barrels and another 36 months of resting in the bottle, the result is a deep red wine, capable of evolving and surprising over the years.

The history of Viña Pedrosa is also that of a pioneering family. In 1980, the brothers Benjamín, Manuel, and Adolfo Pérez Pascuas decided to bet on the potential of their family vineyards and bring to life a project that, along with other visionary wineries, drove the creation of the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin. Today, the Hermanos Pérez Pascuas winery is synonymous with excellence and prestige, recognized both in Spain and international markets.

Viña Pedrosa Gran Reserva 2016 is not just a wine; it is the reflection of a land, a family, and a passion passed down from generation to generation.

The winery

Hermanos Pérez Pascuas
The three brothers Pérez Pascuas (Benjamín, Manuel, and Adolfo) were pioneers in championing Ribera del Duero as a region for producing quality wines. Thus, in 1980, they separated from the cooperative in their hometown, Pedrosa de Duero (Burgos), to establish their own winery and supported the creation of the new Denomination of Origin, participating in the foundation of the Regulatory Council in 1982. Today, Hnos. Pérez Pascuas - popularly known as Viña Pedrosa - is one of the most important wineries in Ribera del Duero and a prestigious international brand, recognized as one of the world's top 100 wineries in 2013 by the influential American magazine ‘Wine&Spirits’.

True to a philosophy that focuses on working exclusively with their own vineyards: one of the oldest vineyards in Ribera del Duero, passed down through generations; and which preserves its family character.
