Veranza Rosado is a Vino de la Tierra de Castilla made from cabernet sauvignon grapes grown in selected vineyards. For its production, the grapes were destemmed and macerated in stainless steel tanks for around 20 hours at temperatures below 10 ºC. The bleeding of the cabernet sauvignon fruits resulted in a must with an intense color, which was fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature below 18 ºC.
As with other wines from the winery owned by the Raventós Codorníu group, the Veranza Rosado vineyards have been cultivated using innovative trellis techniques, always keeping sustainability and respect for the environment in mind throughout all processes and treatments.
The preservation of freshness due to its stay in steel makes this Vino de la Tierra de Castilla a persistent and very pleasant rosé on the palate, perfect for pairing with a wide variety of dishes. From the sea, firm-fleshed fish like tuna, monkfish, or cod; from the land, it combines with white meats and cold cuts. If you are a fan of rice dishes or pizzas, do not hesitate to accompany them with a good glass of Veranza Rosado.
In appearance, Veranza Rosado exhibits a vibrant, clear, and bright currant hue.
It offers great vivacity and intensity on the nose, with prominent aromas of wild strawberries and raspberries.
On the palate, it shows a perfect balance between structure and acidity. The freshness persists, with a very pleasant finish.
