Vines aged between 20 and 50 years located in Florinas (Sardinia), at an average altitude of 400 meters above sea level, give rise to Tenute Soletta Sardo Vermentino di Sardegna 2023, a fresh and flavorful white wine made entirely from the vermentino grape variety. For its production, harvesting takes place at the end of September, and in the winery, it is vinified through cryomaceration at 0º for 4 hours. The resulting must is transferred to stainless steel barrels for aging for just over 6 months with its own lees. Subsequently, the wine is refined in the bottle for 3 months before being marketed.
Tenute Soletta is a winery founded in 1996 in Florinas by Umberto Soletta. Continuing the family tradition, the Italian winemaker has carried out a remarkable recovery of the land and environment for over two decades, practicing traditional agriculture with the utmost respect for the raw material, resulting in the production of wines with great Mediterranean qualities, like this Tenute Soletta Sardo Vermentino di Sardegna that the Club brings to you. A white wine made with the native vermentino grape variety, traditional in the denomination of origin of the same name (D.O.C. Vermentino).
Tenute Soletta Sardo Vermentino di Sardegna 2023 pairs perfectly with all kinds of appetizers, as well as first courses based on seafood, fish, risottos, and fresh cheeses.

On the palate, it is fresh and flavorful. A balanced wine with good persistence.
The Tenute Soletta winery was founded in 1996 in Florinas, in the northwest of Sardinia, by the winemaker with a long family tradition, Umberto Soletta.
The winery's vineyards extend over 10 hectares between the towns of Florinas and Codrongianos, in the province of Sassari. With these vineyards, Tenute Soletta currently produces 70,000 bottles, crafting wines with clear Mediterranean characteristics.
Umberto Soletta is also a winemaker of another era. In every process, he strives to respect the raw material as much as possible, using pump-overs and delestage for red wines fermented with the skins, and continuous batonage during aging.
Their wines are certified under the DOC Cannonau di Sardegna, DOC Vermentino di Sardegna, and IGT Isola dei Nuraghi.
The grape varieties used by Tenute Soletta include the native cannonau, vermentino, and moscato, as well as the international varieties incontro, manzoni, and cabernet sauvignon.
The intervention in the vineyard by this winery is very limited, with agronomic work that significantly reduces the use of chemical products. This aligns with Soletta's philosophy of respecting and protecting the environment with a sustainable ecological footprint.
With a philosophy based on the utmost respect for nature, every action, whether in the vineyard or in the winery, is carried out in pursuit of a “circular economy.” For Umberto Soletta, “treating the land with love and respect rewards me with excellent fruits.”
