Telescópico Garnacha 2022 is born on the slopes of the Sierra del Jalón, in Alpartir (Aragón), where the garnacha tinta, garnacha peluda, and mazuelas vines are cultivated in goblet training and dry farming. The continental climate, with cold winters and dry summers, combined with the altitude and the cierzo wind, brings freshness and tension to the grapes. The poor and stony soils impart minerality and character, resulting in a wine that reflects the authenticity of the Aragonese landscape.
The winemaking process is carried out with the utmost respect for tradition: 25% of the grape clusters are fermented with stems, which adds structure and complexity. Maceration lasts 35 days in above-ground cement tanks, with one or two manual punch-downs daily to encourage gentle extraction. Fermentation is carried out with native yeasts, and after malolactic fermentation, the wine rests for 13 months in large 2500-liter oval foudres and 500-liter barrels, gaining volume and elegance without losing freshness.
Bodegas Frontonio, founded by Fernando Mora MW and Mario López, is a project that champions garnacha as Aragonese heritage. Their philosophy is based on minimal intervention, gravity-fed winemaking, and the use of noble materials such as cement and wood, to create wines that express the authenticity of the landscape and local tradition. Telescópico is their most sophisticated wine, a tribute to finesse and complexity.
Telescópico Garnacha 2022 is ideal for pairing with braised poultry, meats with dark sauces, pork, meat and vegetable rice dishes, pasta with tomato sauce, and vegetable dishes. Versatile and gastronomic.
Telescópico Garnacha is a wine with a light cadmium red color. Aromas of dark cherry, rose petals, and wild oregano. Fresh, direct, and fleshy on the palate, with energetic tannins and a fine texture. A delicate balance between fruit and flower, with a long and flavorful finish.
