La Spinetta Moscato d’Asti Bricco Quaglia 2023 was the first wine from the prestigious bodega La Spinetta to see the light in 1977 and today it is a classic Italian reference. La Spinetta Moscato d’Asti Bricco Quaglia embodies the firm commitment of the Rivetti family to transform moscato d’Asti, the traditional dessert wine that was once light and simple, into a substantial creation. The hard work in the field and winery paid off, and La Spinetta's moscato became the first to be produced from a vineyard classified as unique in the region.
And indeed, this La Spinetta Moscato d’Asti Bricco Quaglia 2023, as its name suggests, was crafted from muscat grapes from the Bricco Quaglia vineyard, 20 hectares of vines between 36 and 41 years old, planted in calcareous-sandy soils and oriented to the south, in the best area of the D.O.C.G. Moscato d’Asti. The uniqueness of the terroir; the practice of sustainable viticulture, free of herbicides and pesticides; and the meticulous vinification carried out laid the foundations to create a sweet, intense, and fragrant wine, whose low alcohol content makes it even more pleasant and accessible to all kinds of palates. While it is perfect for dessert, it is also a delightful surprise as an aperitif or to enjoy during a delicious brunch.
La Spinetta Moscato d’Asti Bricco Quaglia shines with a yellow color and green reflections.
In the olfactory phase, it is fragrant, intense, sweet, and sexy, with notes of mango, apricot, pineapple, white flowers, and honey.
Fresh palate imbued with flavors of sorbet, lemon, and peach with a subtle touch of caramel.
