General Information
Rebels de Batea Blanco 2023 is the latest vintage of the first “magnificent” released in 2014, the winery led, in the technical area, by the oenologist Nuria Barrachina.
In its search for unique plots and vines, the firm found white garnacha vines over 20 years old planted in calcareous soils. In the heart of the D.O. Terra Alta, they set out to produce this balanced and seductive white, a perfect reflection of this Mediterranean region that the Club brings to you. Fermentation at controlled temperature and subsequent aging on lees in stainless steel tanks for a period of between three and six months preserved the integrity and varietal typicity, giving the final ensemble freshness and intensity on the palate.
Rebels de Batea Blanco 2023 is the ideal option to pair with grilled fish and seafood, white meats (chicken, turkey), or creamy and slightly aged goat and sheep cheeses.

Born from the initiative of the viticulture teams at Bodegas Torres, led by the winemaker Nuria Barrachina, 7 Magnífics is an independent project that seeks to explore Catalan designations of origin in search of unique terroirs and singular vineyards, from which to craft seven exceptional wines that faithfully reflect their essence.
In 2014, Rebels de Batea Blanco was launched, the first member of this distinctive and appealing collection, a seductive single-varietal white garnacha from Terra Alta. It was soon followed by its red garnacha version, featuring a mineral nose and a powerful, rounded palate; the expressive and Mediterranean El Senat del Montsant; and Somiadors, a velvety coupage of cariñena and garnacha from D.O. Empordà. All of them are a direct expression of their place of origin and the varieties with which they were crafted, with productions not exceeding 24,000 bottles and offering a more than interesting quality-to-price ratio.
