General Information

Pizzolato Moscato Spumante is a sparkling white wine designed by the Pizzolato family entirely from the Italian moscato grape variety. For its production, after a gentle pressing of the grapes, the concentrated must is introduced into stainless steel tanks to carry out the alcoholic fermentation. It is vinified as indicated by the charmat method, controlling the constant temperature for 30 days, until an internal pressure of 4.5 atmospheres is obtained.

Through this process, the family winery La Cantina Pizzolato produces some of its most interesting wines. Located in the Treviso region, the winery is currently led by Settimo Pizzolato, who, following the principles of organic farming and a great respect for the natural environment, achieved organic certification for his wines in 1991.

Pizzolato Moscato Spumante has received numerous awards. Among them are "Dama d'Oro," "Tullio de Rosa," and its entry in the Vinitaly 2018 5 Star Wines Guide. The low alcohol content of this sparkling wine from the Treviso region makes it ideal for mixed drinks and cocktails, but it is also perfect for accompanying all kinds of appetizers, desserts, and fresh fruit.

Tasting notes

Pale yellow color with bright golden reflections.

On the nose, it is fresh and pleasant, harmonious and penetrating with sweet floral notes and yellow fruit jam.

On the palate, it is velvety, with an excellent balance between acidity and the typical sweetness of the grape.

The winery

La Cantina Pizzolato

La Cantina Pizzolato is a family winery founded in 1981 in the Treviso region, in northern Italy. It began as the Pizzolato Settimo & Gino farm, primarily dedicated to livestock care, vine cultivation, and agricultural work with fruits and vegetables. Soon, the family realized they had an optimal place to produce high-quality wines, taking advantage of organic farming methods. Thus, the winery obtained organic certification in 1991.

Today, the owner of the winery is Settimo Pizzolato, the sixth generation of the family, who has worked to maintain a balance between the environment and the natural ecosystem, respectfully vinifying healthy, top-quality grapes from their vineyards.

La Cantina Pizzolato has launched a project to remodel its winery, redesigning it with an eco-sustainable approach. The goal is to highlight the connection this house has between man and nature.
