The classic varieties of the A.O.C. Bordeaux merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and cabernet franc compose the measured blend of this Mouton Cadet Rouge that the Club brings to you. The red fruit sensations of the dominant merlot, the refinement and elegance of the cabernet franc, along with the structure and power of the cabernet sauvignon, formed a harmonious ensemble that, after 18 months of aging, resulted in Mouton Cadet Rouge 2022, an attractive red ‘Bordeaux’ ideal for getting to know the wines of this appellation and enjoying with soft cheeses, duck breast, or pork tenderloin in sauce.
Tasting notes
Intense vermilion color with soft carmine reflections.
Surprising on the nose, initially, with an explosion of fruity aromas (cherry, blueberry, blackberries), which later is enriched with spicy notes.
The attack on the palate is delicate and rich, well balanced. The fruit perceived on the nose is present, accompanied by notes of cinnamon. Substantial, deep, and well-rounded tannins that provide structure. Elegant, smooth, and round finish.
