Marimar Estate Blanc de Noirs 2021 is the first sparkling wine from the Californian winery of the Torres family. Crafted using the champenoise method, this single-varietal wine made from the noble French grape pinot noir comes from the low-yield Doña Margarita vineyard, located on the Sonoma Coast and named in honor of the clan's matriarch. Very fine bubbles, a refreshing minerality, and notes of flan, brioche, and fruit tart in a fragrant Californian sparkling wine not to be missed.
Our second vintage of Blanc de Noirs showcases intense aromas of wild strawberries and floral notes of rose petals, with very fine bubbles and a refreshing minerality reminiscent of wet stones. The palate is clean and refreshing, with classic notes of brioche, flan, and fruit tart. I would recommend serving it at 7-9ºC as a delightful aperitif, on its own or with tapas, as well as with raw or cooked seafood, smoked salmon, light dishes, sushi, and any type of Asian cuisine.
